"David and Kim d'Escoto have written an excellent new book entitled THE LITTLE BOOK OF BIG REASONS TO HOMESCHOOL. Included is a Companion Bible Study book useful for a Sunday Class or home Bible study. This 88 page compact book is easy to use as a brief yet complete tool to give to a Christian family to persuade them of Biblical or theological reasons for homeschooling. While there are other good books on home schooling, few currently meet the need for a short, effective book as this one prepared by the d'Escotos. This couple brings a fresh voice and passion for Christian homeschooling when more help is needed. Exodusmandate.org plans to promote this new book and we recommend David and Kim d'Escoto as missionaries on behalf of the growing Christian home school movement. "

"THE LITTLE BOOK OF BIG REASONS TO HOMESCHOOL, by David and Kim d'Escoto is the best tool I've found for getting the message of 'Why Homeschool?' out to people in a quick concise method. Straight to the point, this book covers all the bases while giving great proofs of it's standpoint. An easy read, low cost, great for handing out to your friends the next time they ask you: 'Why are you homeschooling?' The accompanying study is a great tool for introduction to homeschooling classes in your support group or church or bible study. "

Homeschooling Family to Family
The Little Book of Big Reasons to Homeschool and its companion bible study are powerful ways to reach modern Christian parents about home education. This little book really packs a punch, giving compelling reasons to homeschool yet it is a quick read, perfect for the busy parent. The bible study fosters deep thought into our role as parents and educators of our children. Having counseled hundreds of new generation Christian parents about homeschooling, we have found that most are eager to sacrifice to give their children an excellent, Godly education, but lack information on why they should choose home education. This book and bible study represent an effective way of reaching such parents about the academic, physical and spiritual blessings of Christian homeschooling. Whether you are an individual trying to convince a friend or family member to homeschool or a homeschool leader, get a supply of these handy books. You may change families -- and their children for eternity.

The Little Book of Big Reasons to Homeschool by David and Kim d'Escoto answers all your questions about homeschooling from a Christian perspective. This is a two volume set. The first is an exposition of the important reasons to homeschool, including benefits to the mind, body and soul. The companion volume is a Bible study, which I thought was a really clever idea. It examines Scripture, your life experience, your thoughts and reflections to help you sort out the issues of homeschooling. This would be a great study to go through with those considering homeschooling, or even those who are asking themselves why they should continue. The introspection called for is deep!
Life as a homeschooling parent can be difficult at times but this book reminds us of the eternal significance of our job to train up children spiritually and academically. This would be a great product for homeschool support groups, Bible studies, to study with your spouse, or on your own.
